María is one of the 34 top Chemistry Professors included in the recreation of the iconic Solvay Conference picture
Prof. María Escudero-Escribano was one of the 34 Europe’s renowned Chemistry Professors (including two Chemistry Nobel laureates) invited to recreate the iconic 1927 Solvay Conference photography at the Metropole Hotel in Brussels.
During the 50th anniversary of the European Council of the Chemical Industry (Cefic), 34 Chemistry Professors and 21 PhD students from across Europe gathered at the historic settings of the Metropole Hotel. They recreated the iconic 1927 Solvay picture of the 5th Solvay International Conference on Electrons and Photons featuring great minds of the time including Marie Skłodowska-Curie and Albert Einstein.
