María Escudero-Escribano awarded the “María Teresa Toral” National Research Award

Professor María Escudero Escribano has been awarded the Spanish National Research Award “Maria Teresa Toral” in chemical science and technology in the category for young researchers. The Spanish National Research Awards are Spain’s most important recognition in the field of scientific research, awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. María Escudero Escribano has been honoured for her innovative research in electrochemical processes and the design of new advanced materials at the atomic level. The Jury also highlights her leadership and the scientific and technological solutions that those discoveries provide to convert renewable electricity into green fuels such as hydrogen and liquid fuels for sustainable aviation and maritime transportation.
