High entropy alloys for electrocatalysis

High entropy alloys (HEAs) have unique properties that make them attractive as multifunctional materials for electrocatalysis and serve as a new approach to catalyst discovery and design. We are interested in elucidating the relationships between the surface structure and electrocatalytic activity and selectivity and identifying the electrocatalytically active sites on HEAs. We are also working toward establishing protocols for benchmarking HEA electrocatalytsts by means of electrochemical methods.
